IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN the 24 day of April 1748 I John Huston of Augusta County being of good and perfect memory thanks be to Almighty God and calling to remembrance the uncertain state of this Transistary life and that all flesh must yield unto Death when it shall please God to call do make constitute ordain and declare this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following revokeing and annuling by these presents all and evry Testament & Testaments will and wills heretofore by me made and declared either by word or writing and this is to be taken only for my Last will and Testament and none other and first being pinetent and sorry from the bottom of my hart for my sins past most humbly desiring forgiveness for the same I give and committ my soul unto Almighty God My Saviour and Redeemer in whome and by the merits of Jesus Christ I trust and believe assuredly to be saved and to have remission and for give-ness of all my sins and that my Soul with my body at th? General Day of Resurrection shall rise again with Joy and through the merits of Christ death and passion possess and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven prepared for his elect & chosen and my body to be buried in such a place where it shall please my Extors. hereafter named to apoint and now for the settling of my temporal estate and such goods cattles Etals as it hath pleased God for above my desires to bestow upon me I do order give and dispose the same in manner and form following that is to say First I will that all those debts and dues as I owe in right or contiony to any manner of Person or Persons whatsoever shall be well and truly contended and paid or ordained to be paid within convenient time after my deceased by my Extors. hereafter named Item I give and bequeath & Item I give and and bequeath unto my Dearly Beloved Wife the full and free possession of all my moveables Estate do alow her the full and uninturrupted Liberty together with the advice of John Moore to give and dispose of the same unto my sons Samuel & Mathew as she shall think proper & meet and at the end of her life to devide all that she possesseth among the rest of my children as she shall judge most convenient and likewise that Mary Blair have a share with the rest and Likewise I order her to possess the Eatest or Plantation that I now live upon untill my Son Mathew come of age and at the expiration of which time she is to he possessed of the following partickulars namely she is to have the west end of the house together with the keeping of two cows and one horse and her and her bread during her term of life Item I give and bequeath unto my Son Mathew the esteats on plantation whereon I now live and I do order him fully and freely to possesS the same as soon as he is of age and likewise I constitute make and ordain my well beloved wife & John Moore my only and sole Extors. of this my last will and testament I do hereby disalow and revoke disanul all & evenly all or every other former testaments wills legacies and Executors by me any time before this
