o Six grandchildren (ages 4-11) - they make their homes in Charlotte, NC and Washington DC

o Retired 3/99 - hobbies/interests include our children/grandchildren, actively involved in the church, golf for exercise, maintenance and repair of cars and home, and some travel

WORK HISTORY

8/66-12/66 - Cornell Aeronautical Lab - Buffalo, NY - assigned to wind tunnel department - test engineer for AGARD calibration model and Douglas DM-18 Missile (Thor)(developed verticle and lateral stability coefficients for various fin configurations.

1/67-8/59 - USAF Lt. - basic trng at Lackland, San Antonio (3/57), Navigator training Harlingen AFB, near Brownsville Texas (thru Feb 58), Electronic Warfare Ops Trng @ Keesler AFB, Biloxi, Mississippi (thru 8/58), operational B-47 ELINT squadron @ Lockborne AFB, Columbus, OH (thru 7/59)

9/59-6/62 - joined STL (Space Technology Labs) in Los Angeles, CA, ultimately became part of TRW when Aerospace Corp was formed. Assigned to Data Analysis/Data Reduction Department. We generated post flight analysis reports for Atlas/Titan/Minuteman test flights out of Cape Canaveral. Our reports included launch vehicle, re-entry vehicle and penetration aid performance.

6/62-7/66 - joined IBM FSD, Owego NY. Developed and implemented launch guidance equations for Gemini Spacecraft inertial guidance system.

8/66-2/94 - IBM FSD in Washington, DC. Participated in and managed an assortment of programs - zero/zero landing studies, laser illuminators for US Army night vision equipment, postal letter mail code sort (LMCS) development (applying bar code technology to automate mail handling), Urban Mass Transit studies and transportation management solution, US Army Command and Control Master plan (solutioned Collection/ADP/Communications/Facility requirements), FAA Enroute Air Traffic Control (ATC) modernization.

3/94-2/99 - Loral Corp & Lockheed Martin Corp - IBM sold our division (FSD) to Loral in 94, and Loral sold us to Lockheed Martin in 96. I continued to support ATC modernization with roles in engineering, program and subcontractor management.
