1962-1963, Project Engineer, Pneumodynamics Corporation: working on development of thrust vector control systems for the Polaris missile. Project Manager for the development of a very high temperature liquid rocket test engine for Edwards Air Force Base.
1963-1965, Technical Specialist with BellComm, Inc., an AT&T Bell Labs Company, to assist NASA headquarters in development of Apollo system. Work involved establishing specifications for Apollo system and coordination of specifications with NASA Centers.
1966-1979, Law Practice and family business
1979 to Present, Partner, Thompson and Llewellyn, P.A., Fort Smith, Arkansas; General practice concentrating in commercial litigation, including aviation and education law and FAA regulatory law. Commercial pilot with single, multi-engine and instrument ratings.
