Family Life

Moved to Dayton Ohio in June 1958 to begin my AF career at Wright Patterson AFB. Left the AF in 1960 during a voluntary AF reduction of junior officers. Transferred from military to civilian status in my position and spent the next 32 years at Wright Patterson.

Married my wife, Patricia Meyers in 1961 and raised two children with Patricia. Pat was the Laboratory travel clerk when I first met her in 1959. The family spent an interesting year in Brussels while I attended VKI in 1970-1971.

Pat became a systems analyst in Dayton obtaining her degree from UD in 1986. She retired from her position at Reynolds and Reynolds in 1997. She retired, I ran out of contract support, we sold the house and moved west that fall.

Our daughter (with grandchildren) lives in Washington state and so, now, do we. Our son acquired a PhD in engineering and works on Government projects

Pat and I volunteer in nursing homes distributing Communion to the Catholic population.
